Some of the most outstanding authors of fables throughout history have been Aesop, Jean de la Fontaine or Tomás de Iriarte.

Jean de la Fontaine

French writer of the mid-seventeenth century. At first he served as a forest inspector, but at 38 years of age decided to focus on literature.

Among his main works are: the priest and the dead, the miller, and the crow and the fox.

Tomás de Iriarte

José Núñez de Cáceres

David Sánchez Juliao

Colombian writer died in 2011. His professional life developed predominantly as a teacher.
