Some of the main tourist attractions of Nuevo León (Mexico) are the p Grutas de García Park, the Cola de Caballo Ecotourism Park or the Bustamante Caves.
The state of Nuevo León is located in the northeast of Mexico, it became a state at the beginning of the 1800's and currently its capital is Monterrey.
S It is run by a governor who is elected every six years, and its legislators, who are elected every three years.
The state is divided into municipalities, which in turn are integrated by cities, towns or groups of villas. Its total population is more than 4 million inhabitants, representing 4% of the population of Mexico.
Between the beginning of June and the end of November, it is considered the hurricanes throughout the area of Nuevo Leon, causing severe destruction throughout the place, while also fulfilling the function of humidifying the area, providing a large amount of valuable water for crops.

Tourist places in Nuevo León
The tourist sites of Nuevo Leon visited more frequently in recent years are the Grutas de García and the Cola de Caballo Ecotourism Park.
Other places of general interest that have had an increase in tourism are the Grutas de Bustamante, the Mirador del Obispado Asta Bandera and the El Salto Recreational Park in Zaragoza.
Grutas de García Park
In this park we find underground caverns located below the Cerro del Fraile, whose height is 1080 meters.
Inside the caverns we will find 16 halls full of stalactites, stalagmites and an underground lake, whose formation has been carried out for more than 50 million years.
This park is very popular, and the most visits occur during the weekend.
Horse Tail Ecotourism Park
This park is located less than an hour from the city of Monterrey. The best time to visit this place is after it has rained.
This is because the amount of water that falls from the waterfall that we will find here will increase after the rain, making the view much more attractive. The height of the waterfall is 25 meters.
Grottos de Bustamante
Located to the north of Mexico, the Bustamante Grottos are full of local legends about bandits and revolutionaries who took refuge in them.
Its entrance is very small and can be reached by climbing a narrow and stepped path. The route of the routes is around 250 meters and its width is 3 meters.
Viewpoint of the Bishopric Flag Flag
In the Cerro del Obispado is the Mirador Asta Bandera with a great view over 700 meters high.
In the place it looks a gigantic flag of Mexico, of 100 meters of height. From this place you can glimpse the Huasteca Canyon, the Cerro de la Silla and the Sierra Madre Oriental, among other things.
It is located just 10 minutes from downtown Monterrey.
El Salto Recreational Park in Zaragoza
The park is located south of Nuevo León, 3km from Zaragoza. Surrounded by a wide vegetation, we can find there magnificent waterfalls, being the main"The veil of the bride".
It is a very peaceful place surrounded by nature, where you can camp and do family or couple activities.
