Between the Examples of trades and professions More common we can find doctors, engineers, lawyers, accountants, carpenters, bakers, writers, drivers, cooks, electricians, firemen, farmers, gardeners, among many others.
A profession is a job or job that an individual exercises in order to receive an economic reward in return.
The word profession comes from the Latin professĭo, which means to profess. In this sense, the profession is the exercise of a trade, science or art (Porto & Merino, 2010).
To practice a profession is necessary to have a formal and specialized knowledge, which is acquired after attending a university or higher training center.
For its part, a trade is also a job or work that an individual executes in return for an economic reward.
However, it is derived from the execution of more practical and informal activities that can be learned in technical schools and with experience (English, 2016).
However, establishing a boundary between professions and trades can sometimes be diffuse (Deborah, 2015).
