The best-known myth related to this goddess is that of the "Harmony Necklace". On the day of his wedding with Cadmus, he received a necklace as a gift from Hephaestus. The jewel was a trap, a revenge of the god of the forge enraged by the relationship that Aphrodite and Ares had maintained and of which Harmonia was the fruit. The Hamonia Necklace entailed the misfortune and in many cases the death of those who possessed it. Hermaphrodite
Hermaphrodite was son of Aphrodite and Hermes . He was raised by the nymphs and as he grew up he became an attractive young man. While traveling through Halicarnassus and because it was very hot, she stripped off her clothes and bathed in a lake on the road. A naiad named Salmacis who was in the water observed him and felt an irresistible attraction for him. He was thrown over, but the young man resisted and rejected.

The naiad did not desist in his efforts and when he came to drink from another source, he took it and dragged it to the depths, pleading with the gods to merge them into one body. Priapus
Priapus was son of Aphrodite and Dionysus . It is a minor god of fertility especially agricultural. He is represented with a huge erect phallus. He myth on Priapus it refers us to the relations that it maintained with Dionysus. On a trip he made to India, Aphrodite was unfaithful, although he returned with him on his return. The twins Phobos and Deimos
These twins were children of Aphrodite and Ares and they accompanied their father in battles. Phobos was the representation of the fear of the soldiers before starting the fight that made them flee and Deimos represented pure terror. In one of the myths about them, twins disobey their father's orders to favor humans.
Children of Aphrodite were also Aeneas, the hero of the War of Troy and Érice, who fought with Heracles and lost his kingdom. Both were the result of the relations of the goddess with mortal men.
